Stowen recently attended EEEGRs skills for energy event held at the Energy Skills Centre on the Lowestoft College campus.

Held annually Stowen are proud supporters of this event. Direct engagement with local students, provides Stowen and other companies time to showcase exciting opportunities in choosing Engineering and/or the energy sector as a chosen career.

This year the event saw 450 students from local schools in the region attend. Stowen was one of 30 companies engaging with the students at the event who are interested in pursing a career within the energy industry.

Students were able to witness various NDT inspections throughout the day, whilst asking questions of two of Stowen’s offshore multi skilled technicians.

Stowen offers apprenticeships in Inspection, Fabrication and Machining. Currently Stowen have eight apprentices within the group, who are working towards the completion of their courses.
