ABS recognises Stowen Group Ltd as service supplier in Non-Destructive Inspection

Following a successful Quality System audit, Stowen are pleased to announce that we are now one of 10 companies in the UK to be ABS approved to carry out Non-destructive Testing on ABS classified vessels.

Stowen successfully demonstrated a robust quality system alongside onsite demonstration.

The accreditation means Stowen NDT technicians can carry out various methods of NDT as instructed by ABS surveyors which they will rely on to make decisions affecting classification and/or statutory surveys.

During the Audit, Stowen presented a quality demonstration of Magnetic Particle, Liquid Dye Penetrant, Eddy Current and Ultrasonic Inspection proving procedure quality and technician knowledge.
