EA1 – New Operations & Maintenance Building
EA1 – New Operations & Maintenance Building
Stowen were invited by Scottish Power Renewables to attend the opening of their new Operations & Maintenance building for East Anglia one (EA1).
The impressive building is a landmark in Scottish Power Renewables £25M investment. As a result Charlie Jordan (Project Director) advised that EA1 to date has created 100 jobs and, where physically possible, employment has been offered locally within a 20 miles radius. He went on to add that they are also investing into the local schools to help shape the future of the region.
To date the project has 35 turbines installed with 21 currently producing power. On completion of the 102 turbines, therefore on completion EA1 is expected to produce 714MW powering 630,000 homes.
