NDT trainees continued journey through Stowens apprenticeship programme in partnership with Skills Training UK.

Stowen would like to congratulate both Rhys and Mackenzie. Mackenzie Harrison (Right), who recently passed his Dye Penetrant Testing PCN L2, has now successfully completed his Magnetic Particle Inspection Level 2 after his 2nd year of apprenticeship. Rhys Shearing (Left) who is in his first year, has also successfully completed his MPI Level 2.

With Stowen working in various energy sectors, Rhys and Mackenzie will follow on from previous trainees in understanding the characteristics of steel and how to perform tests in accordance with written standards.

Both apprentices will also follow Stowen’s 3 year internal training program targeted to develop each trainee into a fully conversant Multi Skilled Inspection Technician to the offshore wind industry.
