Stowen’s highly skilled welding division were approached by one of the worlds largest offshore renewable energy operators to complete repair works to structural steel within the nacelle.

With years of experience in delivering welding projects from qualifying weld procedures through to execution onsite Stowen were the “go to” company to tackle the task.

 

This scope required our welders to excavate existing defects in the nacelle of the turbines.

Given the environment the task was carried out in a classified confined space where Stowen worked with the client to ensure safety was paramount utilising forced ventilation.

Works were completed ahead of schedule with positive feedback from the client.
