Stowen where contacted by one of our long established clients to provide assistance during the pandemic for the provision of competent Siemens Service technicians in order to support there 2020 maintenance campaign.
Given our long standing relationship with the client and local resource the teams were mobilized within a matter of days supporting the project.
Keeping it Local
One of the main focuses was to keep the labour content local to the area, this not only allowed the rapid mobilization but also provided a cost effective solution to the client in regards to downtime due to weather.
Another advantage of this execution plan was to eliminate the need of accommodation during a pandemic maintaining government guidelines whilst providing a key worker service.
Stowen have continued to provide service technicians throughout 2021 to Equinor as part of a “get ahead” campaign, with targets to complete all assets ahead of the initial time frame.
