The UK government has today announced and published the UK Offshore Wind Sector Deal. Both Government and Industry aim to work together to grow the UK offshore wind sector to reach the Government’s aim of producing one third of the UKs electricity from offshore wind by 2030.

The East of England already has 52% of the UK’s offshore wind capacity installed off our coast, the UK is set to more than double its current capacity to 30GW by 2030. This will bring significant opportunities for the region.
